You all totally made our week last week with all your nice comments about our blogiversary! Our favorite thing about having written this blog for the past 6 years is getting to hear from you all about what you're eating, what you're cooking, and how life is going. (Or as Elijah told Hannah on "Girls" this week, "You know, what's she thinkin'? What's she eatin'? Who's she mad at?")
Anyway.
Nearly 160 of you commented for a chance to win dinner with us and with two of your friends. We chose a number at random and matched it to the corresponding comment.
Believe us when we say that we wish we could have dinner with each and every one of you! But 160 might be a bit of a crowd at our dining room table. So in the end, we could only choose one winner.
So who are we going to have over for dinner? It's Margie Wolson! Congratulations, Margie!
Now, as we said, the selection was based on a random number. But coincidentally, you may remember Margie as the Bitten who gave us a basketball-sized squash last fall. She actually dropped it off at our place while we were out, so we didn't get to actually meet Margie -- and now we do!
Let this be a lesson to all of us: If you give away produce, the fates will smile on you.
