Just a reminder to vote for The Bitten Word in Saveur's "Best Food Blog" Awards! We're nominated in the "Best Cook-Through Blog" category. We're thrilled to be included in that category with some other terrific blogs, and there are tons of great sites nominated in other categories, too.
Voting ends May 12 -- that's just two days from now! So if you have a minute, we'd love to have your support!
Saveur's voting site can be a tad confusing to navigate, so here are step-by-step instructions for how to cast your vote.
1. Go to: http://www.saveur.com/2011-best-food-blog-awards.jsp
2. Click the button that says "START VOTING."
3. Enter the required information. (You do not have to opt in to receive any emails from Saveur -- just uncheck the boxes).
4. Enter the Security Check code displayed on the screen.
5. Submit your info.
6. Go back to http://www.saveur.com/2011-best-food-blog-awards.jsp. Select "Cook-Through Blog" from the list on the right.
7. Enter your user name and password that you just created if it does not automatically put you on the voting page.
8. On the voting page for Best Cook-Through Blog, you will see The Bitten Word listed (by the donut image). Select The Bitten Word and click VOTE!
